Benugo, the restaurant group set up by Ben Warner in 1998, adds to its London cafe and restaurants opening Fields Bar & Kitchen in place of The Terrace in Lincoln's Inn Fields in July 2013 in conjunction with the historic Sir John Soane's Museum. Making the most of its parkside location, the restaurant offers al fresco dining for 24 people, as well as seating for 64 inside, and extends its opening hours in the summer until 9pm. The menu includes English breakfast classics such as Eggs Benedict and porridge, flat breads and pizzas cooked in the on-site wood fired oven, burgers and salads. Take away choices include rare roast beef or prawn and crayfish salads and sandwiches filled with generous servings of free range egg mayonnaise, and shredded duck. Cakes are freshly made each morning at Benugo's London bakery and include tried and trusted favourites like lemon drizzle cake, blueberry muffins and pain au raison. Given the success of Benugo's existing park cafe, the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen, we can see this latest venture becoming just as popular.
