Offering London's first dedicated Nashville hot chicken menu, Louie's brings fried chicken, traditional Southern sides and a curated local music programme to Hoxton Square. Served blazing, the chicken is coated in buttermilk and seasoned with paprika, garlic and brown sugar before being fried in cayenne-infused hot oil, giving it a distinctive deep red colour and a fiery, crispy coating. Sides include slaw and pickles while dessert is a traditional Southern-style homemade pie of the day. Taking advantage of the wealth of talent found in east London, the dive bar also puts the focus on music with a line-up of acts curated by music director Itchy Rich, who is best known as the co-founder of the Labyrinth stage at The Secret Garden Party. Interiors, meanwhile, come courtesy of east London-based artist and designer, Leopard's Lunch.
