Whether you want to eat it in, take it away or learn how to cook it, Mamma Anna & Co has got all you need for an Italian food fix. The family run business is a deli-come-dining experience, with an Italian food shop, a private dining area and cookery classes. It's run by Anna and her children, and there's a focus on traditional, healthy Italian food. Only the finest, freshest ingredients are used - their parmesan is shipped exclusively to the UK from Italy and their pasta has only four ingredients. Menu highlights include the Gnocchi alla Romana topped with Neapolitan Ragout, made with pork ribs slow cooked for over five hours, and the summer lasagna, made with an almond and mint pesto, mozzarella and courgettes julienne to create a refreshing alternative to the traditional dish. On Friday and Saturday evenings they host 'Social' evenings, where eight diners - strangers or an entire party - can sit down together for an intimate dinner, and on Saturdays there's the chance to try one of their cooking lessons to learn how to make it all yourself. The cookery classes are also accompanied by a wine tasting lesson from award-winning sommelier Marco, who learnt his craft from a number of Michelin starred restaurants.
