If you're hanging around the East End and in the mood for craft beers and real ale, then you're in luck. Mason & Taylor, located on the site of the former Green and Red restaurant, is a refurbished, independently supplied bar in Bethnal Green, with 12 draught beers and ales on tap at any one time and an ever-changing list of 40 bottled beers. All beers come from independent brewers and are imported direct from the country of origin. They also serve food, with an emphasis on seasonality and local produce, with smaller dishes that are perfect for sharing rather than traditional main meals. A sumptuous Sunday roast menu is on offer for those with a slightly larger appetite. Mason & Taylor images
