Lewisham's Nazar is a bar and restaurant providing you with Turkish Meze, kebab dishes and desserts with a modern twist in a vibrant, energetic and contemporary environment. Nazar boasts a lounge bar, restaurant and club, with various DJs, live musical performers and belly dancers as well as special theme nights and promotional events. Thursday nights sees house shots on offer for a pound while Friday welcomes performers Pembe and Vedat for a programme of live Turkish, Arabic and international music. A special three-course set menu accompanies the music (reservations recommended). Saturday sees the popular restaurant become a club after 11pm and you can hire a table in the VIP Red Zone for ?150, which includes a bottle of Champagne and a chocolate fountain. Brazilian Samba dancing takes place on Wednesday nights, there's belly dancing classes on Tuesday and on Sunday the restaurant is open for dinner.
