Named after the 'Great North Road' that links London to Edinburgh, North Road is a restaurant venture from Christoffer Hruskova and reflects his Danish roots along with his travels and experiences in some of the leading kitchens around the world. The menu is classed as 'modern European' and features light Nordic touches resulting in flavours and textures such as over-smoked ingredients, foraged wild herbs and 'day boat catch' fish. The interiors of the restaurant match the Scandinavian theme - sleek and minimal, warm and welcoming. The restaurant won a Diner's Choice Award in 2011 from OpenTable.com.
