Having built up a loyal following with pop-ups at the Doodle Bar in Battersea and Endurance pub in Soho, Patty and Bun have set up a permanent 30 cover restaurant at 54 James Street, off Wigmore Street. Those in search of a top notch burger should head to Joe Grossman's small restaurant just north of Bond Street station - but be prepared to queue, no reservations are taken. The short menu features the Ari Gold cheeseburger, the Jose Jose chilli burger, and the Smokey Robinson burger, made with bacon and homemade mayo to give it that smokey flavour. The Portobello 'Dig it' Mushroom burger, a gourmet affair made with cheese, slaw, courgette and pickled onion, caters for the vegetarians. Wash down with a beer or a rum cocktail and follow with a choc ice for the full course menu experience.
