Pizza Metro, an authentic, Neapolitan, family run pizzeria, famous for their metre-long pizzas, has opened its doors in a new site in Notting Hill, following the success of its Battersea branch. The restaurants are renowned for their top quality, simple Italian food and equally impressive atmosphere, so much so that booking a table is often difficult. The menu includes classic pizza favourites such as Prosciutto with Funghi, Margherita and Salami as well as popular new additions like Portobello with mozzarella, mixed mushrooms, truffle oil, wild rocket and Grana Padano. And it's not just pizza that they specialise in. Try the Spaghetti alle Vongole (Scialatielli with king prawns, mussels, clams, quid, garlic, cherry tomatoes and parsley) or the Polletto Diavoletto (Chicken breast topped with mozzarella and Parma ham served with potatoes in a chilli tomato sauce). There is also an excellent wine list to choose from the restaurant also has a semi-private dining room, perfect for a birthday party or intimate celebration.Pizza Metro images
