Having created a fan base in Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham, Red's True Barbecue now brings its slow smoked meats to The Big Smoke. Opened in Shoreditch in mid-2015, it continues London's love affair with barbecue food and serves gluttonous dishes such as ox cheek bone luge, a donut burger, a binful of ribs and, of course, pulled pork aplenty. Desserts are equally gut-busting with toasted marshmallow sweet potato pie and pecan and salted caramel peach cobbler among the options. Spread across two floors, the restaurant has been designed by Russell Sage studios - the team behind Grain Store, Dishoom and Quaglino's - to give it a unique style to the chain's other branches.
