The second London location for the American import which makes among the best burgers in town, Shake Shack in Westfield Stratford City shopping centre is no ordinary burger joint. Here superior quality meat is used to make the Smokeshack - a cheeseburger topped with bacon, chopped cherry peppers and shack sauce - and the shack-cago dog (Chicago style hot dogs) made with a German style beef sausage topped with relish, onion, cucumber, pickle, tomato, long green pepper, celery salt and mustard. Located on 'The Street', just steps from London Olympic Park and the ArcelorMittal, this Shake Shack gives weary shoppers and athletes alike all the Shack classics as well as a selection of location-specific menu items - like the East End pie oh my and a vanilla custard with Flour Power City Bakery Bramley apple pie - made with locally sourced ingredients. The interior is fashioned from recyclable and sustainable materials including table tops made from reclaimed bowling alleys in Brooklyn, and reclaimed wall panelling from water tanks that once topped buildings across the Big Apple's skyline.
