The Frog At just 27 years of age Adam Handling is a hot young chef tipped as one of the '30 under 30 to watch' by the Caterer magazine. Not one to sit back and stop with his coveted three rosettes award from the AA at his 'Adam Handling at Caxton' restaurant in SW1, he's made a leap east with The Frog in Ely's Yard. This Spitalfields restaurant prides itself on cultivating young talent and offers a menu which plays on Adam's distinctive cooking style - combining technical savvy with quality produce, his love of Asian flavours and a lightly theatrical touch. Opt for the daily-changing 5-course tasting menu and you can expect dishes like crab doughnuts and 'Beetroot, Beetroot and More Beetroot'. Working with art students, up and coming DJs, young wine-makers and food producers, Adam is all about homegrown talent, whether it's guest chefs or - quite literally - growing herbs and ingredients in the restaurant. Sip on craft beers from micro-breweries, new age wines from young winemakers, curated cocktails and in-house made kombucha, either at the restaurant tables or at the wooden-topped bar.
