Visitor Information
After impressing us with PipsDish, a popular pop-up in a former Citroen garage in Islington, chef and journalist Philip Dundas has set up a new home with his restaurant The Lunch Club in Hoxton Square. Ex BBC producer, writer and author of "Cooking Without Recipes" Philip Dundas and his kitchen partner Mary Doherty are collaborating with the kitchen designers Plain English to create a homely dining experience in Hoxton Square. As the name suggests The Lunch Club is a club so you need to book and become a local business member. Become a loyal member and every 5th visit your lunch is free. There's no menu, dishes depend on what's available each day, but to give you an idea of the sort of food to expect, they served tapenade, gazpacho, mackerel with potato salad and homemade elderflower when it first opened.
