Claude Bosi, the well known chef behind two Michelin starred Mayfair restaurant Hibiscus, teams up with his brother Cedric to bring top class cuisine to The Malt House, an updated 18th century pub-with-rooms in Fulham. This is their second pub in South West London and high standards are guaranteed with the former Head Chef at Hibiscus, Marcus McGiness, running the kitchen. Modern British pub food is the best way to describe the menu at The Malt House where there's a focus on seasonal ingredients, served in an informal, friendly setting. Choose from bar snacks like Welsh Rarebit, Rhubarb Chutney and starter dishes of crab gratin, white port and Seabuckthorn. Main dishes include meat and fish, examples of which are short ribs of beef, pickled red cabbage and horseradish or pollock, pumpkin, winter savoury and red wine as well as traditional favourites like steak, lamb and Sunday roasts. London based firm Alexander Waterworth Interiors have maintained much of the 18th century pub feel while carrying out some major work to its exterior and adding eight bedrooms upstairs.
