With Yard Sale Pizza Clapton has really great pizza - with no need to travel to Franco Manca in Hackney to get it. Huge pizzas cooked in a hot gas-powered pizza oven come out with the mozzarella melting and the cornicione puffed up and airy. Of the five pizzas on offer the pick of the bunch is the 'Holy Pepperoni', pepperoni, served with 'Nduja fiery pork paste. The raw tuna pizza with salty anchovy flavours flooding through it is pretty good too. The restaurant and takeaway opened in summer 2014 with a special appearance from Macauley Culkin who played the launch party with his band the Pizza Underground performing pizza puntastic versions of Lou Reed classics.
