Part of small chain of super stylish London coffee shops, Exmouth Market Grind is a neighbourhood cocktail bar, espresso bar and all-day restaurant, located on the famous Exmouth Market, a pedestrianised market street in Clerkenwell. It all started in Shoreditch in 2011 and Grind is frequently name checked for serving the best flat white in London. Launched by DJ and musician Kaz James and entrepreneur David Abrahamovitch, Shoreditch Grind was part of an Australian-led revolution of London's coffee shops - Kaz had grown up drinking coffee in his native Melbourne and searched for the equivalent punchy but smooth Espresso blend after relocating to London. The same winning formula applies here at Exmouth Market where you can get an all day brunch of smashed avocado, poached eggs and chilli on sourdough toast, coffee and fruitier cocktails as well as an evening menu with well cooked crowd pleasers like roasted salmon and homemade tagliatelle with tiger prawns.
