Journalist Rick Wells and ex-Monmouth manager Jorge Fernandez clearly enjoy the simple things in life and that's what you'll get when you go to their Fernandez and Wells shops where the coffee is high quality, the deli produce delicious and sandwiches simple but perfectly done. Their coffee shop chain began with their Beak Street in 2007 with a takeaway / deli in Lexington Street around the corner. Then came the cafe in the East Wing of Somerset House, swiftly followed by a branch on Exhibition Road in South Kensington. Two cafes opened in 2014, firstly in Mayfair's Duke Street as part of a shopping 'emporium' along with shops like Jigsaw and The Shop at Bluebird. Secondly, this branch at 1-3 Denmark Street, London's Tin Pan Alley, an area which has been associated with the music industry since the sixties. All branches offer high quality Spanish produce, Monmouth coffee, and a menu which changes from sandwiches and cups of coffee to raclette, tapas and wine by the glass.
