Tapped and Packed - so called because that's what you do when you're dosing a coffee machine - has all the ingredients to become one of London's top coffee shops. Coffees are supplied by London-based artisan roasteries and prepared using a Nuova Simonelli machine, and not only can you choose which beans you'd like your brew to be freshly made from, you can also choose your preferred brewing method: filter, cafetiere, siphon or Aeropress. In fact, the Tapped and Packed people are so fanatical about coffee that they've tried out various different Aeropress extraction methods, changing the steeping time (by a matter of seconds) and experimenting with the water temperature until they found the best flavour. The menu of beans to choose from is constantly changing as new crops come into the country. Stop in for breakfast and you can get a bacon sandwich or bowl of muesli to go with your progresso single estate Columbian espresso. Or pair your mid-afternoon cup of coffee with a chocolate treat from Choki of Brockley, a small South London-based chocolate company specialising in handmade and Fairtrade chocolate.Tapped and Packed images
