Situated on Wells Street by Oxford Circus, The Adam & Eve is one of the most central pubs within the Geronimo Inns group offering a welcome break for shoppers escaping the Oxford Street crowds. Formerly the Ben Crouch Tavern, the Gothic theme has been replaced with tasteful furnishings, mismatched chairs and easy on the eye decor. Quirky touches include Mini Cooper print wallpaper and stripy sofas making the large space - the pub seats 120 covers inside and 12 out - feel comfortable and homely. Traditional real ales from Adnams, Sambrooks and Charles Wells are served alongside bottled beers and beers on tap from Meantime, Duvel, Leffe and Coopers. Food is better than average pub grub with ham hock terrine, roast fillet of pork and beetroot salad with quails eggs typical of the dishes on offer.The Adam & Eve images
