North of Victoria Park and on the way to Dalston you'll find The Kenton, a transformed boozer that has been turned from football supporters' watering hole to DJ pub with urban artwork and gallery space. Norwegian Egil Johansen is the man responsible for the about-turn, injecting some much needed style from a biscuit coloured paint job for the exterior to the grafitti in the beer garden, we especially like giant moosehead overlooking the bar - a donation from Egil's grandfather. Along with food and drink you get DJs on weekends (including Sundays), fortnightly quiz nights and cheese and wine tastings on Wednesdays.
