Part of the Geronimo Inns pubs, The Northcote looks like a traditional ale house from the outside but once inside you're met with modern decor and mood lighting, not to mention the walls covered in jaunty multicoloured stripes. The Northcote Road area is well known for its many and varied going out options and The Northcote sits right between Northcote Road Market and the hub of Clapham Junction, close to Hamish Johnston's Fine Cheese Shop, the butcher Dove and Son, and Jamie Oliver's Recipease. More a pub that serves food than a gastropub, the menu includes traditional dishes like Ploughman's, locally sourced Cheese boards and easy to digest brunch dish Eggs Benedict. Special events run by the friendly bar staff include things like the Sunday Bloody Mary bar and seasonal ale festivals similar to those at sister pub The Betjeman Arms. The Northcote images
