The Thirsty Bear

- Visitor Information
If you're the kind of drinker who gets thirsty, very thirsty, and you don't have the time or patience to queue for at a very busy bar, The Thirsty Bear could well become your new favourite place. Not only do you place your order on the computerised screen on your table, you can also then dispense beer from the tap on your table. No trip to the busy bar needed. Created by the aptly named Robot Pub Group, you can also place orders for food, surf the internet, and select tracks on the bar's Jukebox from your touch screen. Food options include homemade soups, slow-cooked BBQ ribs, sliders, fresh beer-battered haddock and, if beer's not your thing, there's a cocktail list too. The Robot Group also have a second high tech pub, The Lazy Fox, in Fulham, complete with the UK's first self-serve beer wall.
