Workshop Holborn Viaduct, the third coffee shop by Workshop Coffee Co., occupies a 1,200 square foot space on the ground floor of Amazon's London HQ in Holborn. Workshop Coffee Co. was set up by James Dickson with the idea of treating coffee as an artisan product so here you'll find twin La Marzocco Linea PB espresso machines and high quality filter coffee, either brewed to order using the Aeropress, or batch brewed. The space is dominated by a horseshoe-shaped bar clad in sixteen square metres of Calacatta marble. A sliding, lattice-work wall can be drawn through the centre of the bar dividing the space into stand up coffeebar and a seated area, so companies and groups can hire the space complete with their own bar and baristas. Since the first Workshop Coffee Co., set up in an old Victorian textile factory in Clerkenwell in April 2011, the company has expanded to include a coffee bar in Marylebone, opened just a few months later, and a further two cafes in 2014 - March 2014 saw the opening of Workshop Holborn Viaduct and summer 2014 the Fitzrovia Coffebar.
