Connexions is a countrywide information and advisory service for 13-19 year olds and people with special learning needs or disabilities under 25. They offer an array of advice on issues related to young people including careers, work, housing, drugs, money, health and leisure.
Living up to its name, Connexions brings together all the disparate elements of the key youth services, working in partnership with a host of local initiatives such as local education, health authorities and voluntary projects.
They manage a network of personal advisors who work in the Connexions centres as well as in local schools, colleges and community projects. Helpful and informed, they are always available for a chat. Connexions has branches all over London and across the country.
The centres themselves possess varying facilities, some offering training and leisure activities.
