The London HQ of famed culinary institution Le Cordon Bleu , the cookery school widely considered as the guardian of French culinary techniques, trains future cooks, bakers and wine experts on Bloomsbury Square. The London school started in 1931 when Rosemary Hume and Dione Lucas, former students in Paris, founded L'Ecole du Petit Cordon Bleu. At its current state-of-the-art premises since 2012, Le Cordon Bleu London offers comprehensive training for chefs and managers in the food and hospitality industries. Courses range from Les Petits Cordons for children aged between eight and 12 to Le Grand Diplome, an intensive and comprehensive programme and t he most prestigious culinary qualification at Le Cordon Bleu.
