LSE is the best University in the capital for the study of history, politics and economic and political sciences. The business courses are brilliantly taught, but LSE is famous as an undergraduate university offering political and scientific courses. The LSE offers a huge diversity of courses and opportunities for both study and research, and is uniquely engaged with the political life of Westminster, the oldest parliament in the world.
The LSE combines brilliant teaching, an international outlook and an unrivalled network of contacts with the London worlds of business and politics. It is a challenging university to attend because of the heavy workload, but also a rewarding experience, with a diverse student body from all over the world and a roster of first-class lecturers.
Since it's foundation in 1895 the LSE students and tutors have included 29 heads of state and 30 Nobel Prize winners. It is among the best Universities in the world.
