A peaceful foundation, the AM Qattan Foundation Centre focuses on helping Palestinians by giving them somewhere to explore and self-develop freely, all with confidence and encouragement. Registered as a charity and launched in 1994, the centre promotes Human Rights and tackles a variety of areas with a split into a centre ‘designed for educational research and development’ and a centre ‘for the child, Gaza’. It heavily emphasises the freedom of the individual to express themselves and think freely as well as free expression. The centre is a safe haven from the cruel reality in Gaza at the moment as well as being educational and progressive with only a stones throw away from the massive entertainment hub that is Earls Court. A small piece of free thinking and a relentless desire to give Palestinians of all ages somewhere to grow and feel at maximum comfort and ease.
