Barons Court Theatre

This small theatre - with 57 cinema style seats - in the basement of The Curtains Up pub is a well known attraction in this corner of West London. Close to Barons Court tube station, the Barons Court Theatre has a programme of short-run plays and afternoon magic shows that change frequently - the tiny space means that you're never far from the action and allows for plenty of interaction with the audience. It may have a well worn look but it has only been around since 1991, helped by steady stream of students enrolled at LAMDA nearby - well, they don't have far to travel to get here. The handy combination of the pub and theatre downstairs means you can easily add some culture to your night out - and for less than West End prices.
