Opened on 19th July 1977 by HRH The Prince of Wales, The Churchill Theatre in Bromley provides local theatre-goers with a frequently changing programme of varied productions - both of its own making and touring stage shows. Well received past productions have included This Is Elvis, a star-studded production of Heroes, Stuart Little, Strangers On A Train. Famous actors Joan Collins, Rula Lenska, David Essex, and Art Malik have all been seen on the Churchill's stage. The theatre, part of the Ambassador Theatre Group, includes a fully air-conditioned auditorium, seating up to 785, with in-house bars and refreshment kiosks.
