The madcap Shunt Theatre company has created London's most unpredictable nightspot in the railway arches beneath London Bridge. Each week's entertainment at Shunt Vaults is curated by a different Shunt artist. Enter via a little door on Joiner Street in London Bridge Tube Station and one night you may find yourself drinking in a perfect recreation of a 1930s pub while a play crackles through the radio, the next week wild burlesque dancers will be twisting round you to a sci-fi soundtrack. In Shakespeare's time, theatre was a place where audiences chatted, shouted and interacted with the players - just up the river from Shakespeare's Globe, Shunt have brought that anarchic spirit back to life.Location map of Shunt Vaults
