Situated in the heart of London at Southbank, and right in front of tourists' favourite the London Eye, The Slug and Lettuce is the perfect place to kick off an evening or to go for a relaxing bite to eat in the daytime. The restaurant and bar is popular with young and older crowds, for a fun atmosphere and reasonable as well as tasty food - its 50% off on Mondays. They serve traditional roasts every Sunday and 2-4-1 cocktails on Thursday, being only around the corner from Waterloo tube station it's worth a quick stop off. On Friday and Saturday nights The Slug and Lettuce Southbank is home to Crack Comedy Club, an arts collective that started out in Epsom, Surrey who also run nights at venues in Islington, Kingston, Streatham, and Wimbledon as well as monthly nights at their Surrey venue in Farncombe.
