The Turk's Head pub in St. Margarets, Twickenham is home to The Bearcat comedy club which occupies an old hall attached to the pub. Every Saturday nights (with a break in the summer) you can catch great comedy just a five minute walk from St. Margaret's station. Given its suburban (almost rural) location the club has hosted a surprsing number of high profile acts - Omid Djallili is a regular and a fan, describing it as "without question one of the oldest, most respected and genuinely exciting comedy clubs in the world". Alongside the big names you'll find local talent like funny man Milton Jones and double act The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue.
