In 1997 three poets - Mimi Khalvati, Jane Duran and Pascale Petit - set up The Poetry School with the intention of teaching poetry to adults. Through courses, workshops and talks by leading poets you can learn to read, write or translate poetry but most of all to enjoy it. Poetry School activities take place at the London school, through their website and at select towns and cities nationwide including Manchester, Liverpool,
Exeter, Bath, Durham, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Norwich and
Cambridge.
