The Astoria is one of central London's major live music venues. Dark, dingy and cavernous, it makes a great venue for hard rock, while its impressive acoustic also makes it popular with performers. It plays host to major live acts in the early evening, and then opens later for the G - A - Y Club, one of London's biggest gay nights, which also attracts live performances from big stars. The steps at the front are popular gathering spot for pale indie-kids.Astoria images
