The Luminaire closed on 7th March 2011.
A small, pared-down live music venue in Kilburn, The Luminaire has a terrific booking policy, which ensures that even on the quietest nights, there'll be something worth listening to. They also have an excellent sound-system. Working together with musicians, with well-trained, friendly staff, they've put on some truly memorable nights. The venue only opened its doors back in 2005 but has converted a whole host of music lovers to her cause. Expect a mixed crowd of 20 somethings in band t-shirts, older muso folk and whoever else has made the trip to see their favorite band. The Luminaire is a venue that is doing what it can to prove that Kilburn is the new Camden.
