Marylebone Village is one of those areas of central London that really does have a village feel. And this weekly farmers' market, opened on 22nd June 2003, helps to compound that feeling as you stroll around its stalls displaying freshly picked produce. Currently the largest farmers' market under the London Farmers' Markets umbrella, there are 30 stalls to peruse. Honey from Harrow on the Hill makes a sweet treat and is locally produced too. Organic bread, beef and biscuits are just some of the delicious things to choose from. But it's the central location that really sells this market - once you've had your fill of organic farmed goods you can step down a side street and visit any of the shops, cafes and restaurants nearby; walk on and you can be at Selfridges in five minutes.
