Zedwell opens in February 2020.
Taking over the Trocadero, between Leicester Square and Piccadilly Cirucs , Zedwell delivers over 750 rooms with sleep-centric cocoons and one of London's biggest rooftop bars. You may be on one of London's busiest streets but soundproofing, fresh air circulation and calm-inducing colours and scents have all been designed to aid sleep and relaxation. Channelling the art of zen, all clutter and anxiety inducing in-room distractions - like bright TVs and complicated controls - have been removed. In this era of ubiquitous smart phones, portable screens and TV loaded tablets, it will be up to you to switch those off too. While rooms have been designed to be tranquil, the hotel also offers a gym, a yoga studio, sensory lounge, refreshment counters as well as a rooftop restaurant and bar big enough to to hold 1,000 people. Owners Criterion Hospitality also plan to open three more hotels under the Zedwell brand in 2020 at Edgware Road, Great Russell Street and Greenwich but this Trocadero branch, accessed directly from Piccadilly Circus station, is the biggest headline-grabbing hotel of the bunch.
