You won't find Ermintrude or any type of cow at the Cowshed. This is, in fact, a spin-off from Babington House where the Cowshed Spa cossets piqued London media luvvies in the Somerset countryside. Now these grumpy cows don't have to go to the country to get away from it all; they just have to go to leafy Holland Park - far more convenient and sure to suit these urban types. This, the Cowshed's first stand alone spa, offers a full range of treatments including the ultimate in luxury: the Cowgroom packages where two therapists work together, for a divine (or should that be bovine) relaxing treatment. There's even a deliciously healthy choice of homemade food and freshly squeezed juices to fuel your spa trip, served in the stylish ground floor cafe; soups, salads and spinach tarts are the type of thing you'll find on the daily changing menu. Ermintrude never had it so good.
