If you fancy getting fit it's great idea to pop along to the Serpentine Running Club sessions. With so many young enthusiasts it’s bound to inspire you on the road to running. You can choose from two runs. One is 4.3 miles long and goes round Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. The other is on the longer side at 7.2 miles long and goes through Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Green Park and St James’s Park. Both runs go straight past Kensington Palace; it’s a beautiful sight and will no doubt take your mind of your sore legs. Newcomers are always warmly welcomed. Every one is very friendly and the runs are staffed by a number of helpers. The runs go every Wednesday and Saturday and are incredibly popular and come summertime, it’s simply a pleasure to jog through London’s picturesque parks. The gang all meets at a lesiure centre near Marble Arch; don't be late, they definitely don't hang around.
