It's a relief to step into Snowsfields Wellness, with its shelves of carefully selected healthy and organic products. Unlike plenty of other places, each of the products stocked appears to have a real reason for being there. Owner Marissa-Catherine Carrarini, a freelance journalist, has been brought up to know the importance of healthy eating - her parents, Rose and Jean-Charles Carrarini set up Villandry in London and own the Rose Bakery in Paris. With a love of good ingredients in her blood, Marissa set up Snowsfields with a focus on pure, organic, vegan and fair trade principles - and that applies to the food, supplements and massage oils. The overall feel of the place is of a very pure, uncomplicated, calming space where you can sit by the fire side and enjoy a cup of tea while flicking through one of their amazingly eclectic selection of books. If you're new to this 'new age' stuff, they're also happy to explain anything - just ask. If you're not going to take our word for it, listen to LondonTown.com reader Adrian Joffe who says, "I can not recommend this little treasure shop highly enough."
