Danny Gillard and his team at Thames River Adventures offer kayak tours of the river Thames and London's canals. Early risers can see the city before it wakes (departing at 5am or 6am) by paddling on a sunrise tour. The tours, also available at sunset, follow a choice of two routes: 1.) on the River Thames; 2.) alongside Regent's Park, following the adjacent canal. Day tours add Teddington Lock and Hampton Court Palace to the choice, taking in a riverside pub as well as the sights and scenery.
