London's latest park is from the designers of New York's High Line and, like that successful urban regeneration project, The Tide follows an elevated linear design. The 5km raised walkway, dotted with plants, birch and pine trees, weaves its way around the Greenwich Peninsula and ends with a platform overlooking the Thames. Here you'll also find Damien Hirst's enormous bronze sea sculptures, a red eight-metre high sculpture by Allen Jones and Yoko Ono's Wish Trees. These join existing artworks by Gary Hume and Antony Gormley whose Quantum Cloud was commissioned in 1999 to celebrate the millennium.
