Visitor Information
Originally built in the 1880s by Samuel Harrison to refresh the workers in his shoe factory, The Harrison pub's current building dates back to 1934. Owned since 2004 by Londoner Paul Michelmore, the pub has an authentic feel as a friendly local with some good ales. The Harrison opened its basement to the public in April 2012 and has since become an important venue on the folk amd Americana live music scene hosting regular live music nights. They also put on jazz, comedy, storytelling, theatre, film and sporting events. Above the pub are four simple but stylish en-suite hotel rooms - three doubles and a triple (one double and one single bed) - offering travellers an alternative place to stay in King's Cross.
