Nestled between the Athletes' Village and the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre on the edge of the Olympic Park, Stratford International Station opened on 30 November 2009. During London 2012, a special high-speed Javelin ? service will shuttle spectators every six minutes between the Olympic Park and St Pancras International Station in central London - in a journey which Lord Coe promises will take just seven minutes. Stratford International is on the High Speed 1 railway between St Pancras and Ebbsfleet International, but does not currently act as a stop for Eurostar trains. The station is also connected to the London public transport network through an extension of the Docklands Light Railway (DLR).
