Spacious restaurant by day, cocktail lounge by night, 1802 is attached to the historic 'Museum in Docklands' and gets its name from the year the rum and tea warehouse housing it was built. A daily changing menu offers full a la carte choices during the week and a brunch menu at weekends. In the evening, choose from a superb selection of beers, spirits and cocktails and relax at the bar which stays open until 11pm. Good, solid pub grub at above-average prices is adeptly put together by caterers Searcy's who also run restaurants at 'The Gherkin', Royal Opera House, Barbican Centre and National Portrait Gallery. A welcome respite for both lunching city workers from neighbouring Canary Wharf and families finding out the history of the Docklands.Opening and closing times for 1802
