Bar With No Name

The rapidly gentrifying area around Atlantic Road gets its poshest venue yet, with the arrival of this stunning cocktail bar. It's a clean minimalist space in shades of beige and brown, overlooked by a thoroughly sinister moose's skull. Its previous incarnation as a gourmet Italian restaurant is reflected in some excellent thin pizzas, but this is now definitely more bar than restaurant, with a long and imaginative cocktail menu, and a late license. Whether the silk cushions can survive a night with Brixton's more raucous denizens remains to be seen.
