A sister venue to the notorious NYC celebrity hangout, this jewel-like bar is hidden beneath the St Martins Lane Hotel. Empty until midnight, it then fills out with a fairly impressive selection of London's glitterati. The decor is as opulent as you'd expect (though the black-and-white stripes a little eye-watering after the third Martini) and the cocktails even better, with a serious dedication to fresh fruit and high-quality booze. On busy nights, getting in is almost impossible for non-members.
