The name might suggest bar staff in army fatigues and military themed paraphernalia but Camouflage is a little more chic than that - even if it does cater for a student crowd on Wednesdays (see www.wickedstudentnights.com for details). Owned by Vince Power, founder of the Mean Fiddler empire and the man behind The Pigalle Club, Reading Festival, the Astoria and countless other musical events and venues, the place has an impeccable pedigree. Holding up to 450 people and decked out in designer cool fixtures and finishings, it gets hectic on weekends when its open till 4am. The rest of the week (Sundays to Tuesdays) it's available for private parties (call 020 7287 3834 for further information).
