Functional, multi-purpose pub whose saving grace is its excellent Southbank location and views of the river. Doggett's Coat and Badge could hardly be described as a pretty sight: set over four floors in a bulky 70s block, the décor is rather basic and the carpets nothing to write home about. But the place does offer a great fourth-floor terrace overlooking the Thames, while there's a relatively quiet garden terrace round the back, and a trusty selection of beers and ales. For sports lovers, the second floor is dedicated to live football and rugby games on matchdays. A restaurant serves basic pub fare on the third floor and there are three rooms available for private hire. Popular with tourists and local office workers, the Coat and Badge is a favoured spot for summertime drinking.Doggett's Coat and Badge images
