In the cluster of pubs, restaurants and nightlife offerings that include Nam Long's, the Star of India and Eclipse, the Duke of Clarence is a relaxed, comfortable gastro pub that adds to the lure of this cross roads between South Kensington, Gloucester Road and Earls Court. The young Kensington crowd are drawn to this rich oasis of evening entertainment options and can frequently be seen spilling from here into Eclipse come closing time. Part of the Geronimo Inns group, the Duke of Clarence offers decent gastro pub food at reasonable prices and caters well for the nursing-a-pint drinker too. The art deco interior, large arched windows, wooden tables, friendly staff and roadside outdoor tables all add to the pub's appeal.Duke of Clarence images
