Hackney’s freshest venue is a converted railway station with a plush bar / restaurant on the ground floor and a nightclub upstairs. The kitchen serves excellent Caribbean fusion food and the Central is also a mean place for a hangover breakfast… Nightclub impressarios David Catlin and Billy Boyd are the brains behind this enterprise, and they’ve combined their years of experience with the musical savvy of Hackney local DJ Ron to ensure that Hackney residents are flocking in their discerning droves.
The best nights feature raw toasting by local MCs over a brilliantly diverse selection of urban sounds. Expect a well-dressed crowd, some excellent drinks and an atmosphere to match. This is one of the best DJ bars in the capital, a place to see and be seen, but also to have a good old party.
